Distribution Center General Manager

Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Distribution Center General Manager responsible for executing operational activities and ensuring service, safety, and accuracy standards are met. The role involves overseeing all facets of distribution center operations and leading strategic initiatives for automation and productivity gains.

Responsibilities

Oversee all facets of DC operations including safety, service, cost, and people
Meet regularly with supervisors, leads, warehouse staff and corporate leadership
Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, EPA and internal audit standards
Lead strategic initiatives for automation, expansion, or productivity gains
Serve as liaison for DC to store operations, corporate, and third-party partners
Set vision and strategic goals for the site level facility
Ensure KPI targets are met or exceeded in areas like on-time delivery, cost per unit, and fill rate
Manage cross-functional projects involving technology or layout changes
Champion safety culture, oversee compliance reviews, and ensure audit readiness
Develop succession plans and talent pipeline across leadership layers

Required

Senior-level leadership with full P&L responsibility of DC site
Expertise in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations
Strategic thinker with the ability to lead large teams and drive cultural alignment
Strong financial acumen to manage budgets and justify capital investments
Skilled in change management and long-term capacity planning
Oversee all facets of DC operations including safety, service, cost, and people
Meet regularly with supervisors, leads, warehouse staff and corporate leadership
