Operations Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret complex financial and dispute-related data to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
Develop, maintain, and optimize KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor operational efficiency
Utilize Snowflake and SQL-based tools to extract, transform, and load data for reporting and analysis
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership
Collaborate with dispute processing teams to improve workflows and resolve data-related issues
Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives through advanced analytics and automation

Required

5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within the finance industry
Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake for data extraction and transformation
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling techniques
Strong grasp of data governance, data quality, and compliance standards in financial services
Proven ability to work independently in a virtual environment and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior executives
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred

Familiarity with dispute processing workflows and back-office operations
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data analytics
Knowledge of machine learning basics for anomaly detection or trend analysis
Understanding of business process optimization and operational efficiency metrics
