Responsibilities
Spearhead the development of advanced analytics and algorithms to enhance user-facing generative AI capabilities, driving awareness and utilization of benefits
Lead end-to-end machine learning projects, ensuring adherence to scientific best practices
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to integrate data-driven solutions into existing processes and identify new opportunities for impact
Utilize statistical modeling and controlled experiments to deliver actionable insights for business strategies and product development
Accelerate team productivity by providing technical mentorship, contributing to internal tooling, and staying updated on recent advancements in ML and AI
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in a quantitative field (science, math, engineering, etc.)
3+ years of experience driving impact on cross-functional data science projects
Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of projects and driving them forward
Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
Strong knowledge of traditional machine learning, with experience in NLP and deep learning considered advantageous
Experience in designing, deploying, and evaluating generative AI applications
Familiarity with common model and service deployment frameworks
Experience mentoring other data scientists and promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence
Passion for continuous learning and the ability to quickly understand the complex space of benefits administration
