Responsibilities
Apply advanced statistical, mathematical, and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, opportunities, and insights within complex datasets
Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms to optimize value extraction from data
Conduct exploratory data analysis to generate hypotheses, test assumptions, and interpret experimental results
Partner with product and engineering teams to translate analytical prototypes into scalable products, services, and features
Support business intelligence and data visualization efforts, including dashboard development and ad-hoc analytical requests
Analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to meet defined analytical deliverables and reporting requirements
Attend regular internal practice community meetings
Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or research-focused roles
Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling
Experience working with large, complex datasets
Hands-on experience with data querying and analysis using SQL
Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex analytical concepts
Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field required
Preferred
Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
Exposure to product experimentation, A/B testing, or large-scale analytics initiatives
Master's degree in computer science or a relevant field preferred
