Responsibilities

Resolve unapplied or misapplied cash items, ensuring timely and accurate posting
Investigate discrepancies across customer accounts and ownership of issue resolution
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly AR reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Monitor aging, identify at-risk accounts, and escalate concerns as needed
Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, tie-outs, and error correction
Lead and execute AR-related projects, such as system enhancements, ERP updates, automation efforts, and testing initiatives
Partner with cross-functional teams (customer service, billing, IT, offshore teams) to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy
Identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive implementation of process improvements
Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) to support reporting and data validation
Analyze payment trends, exceptions, and recurring issues to guide operational improvements

Qualification

Required

3-5+ years of AR, Cash Applications, or Accounting Operations experience
Proven experience leading project-specific work (reconciliations, testing, ERP updates, process redesign, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, nested formulas)
Ability to handle high-volume environments and shifting priorities

Preferred

Experience collaborating with offshore teams
