Radio Communications Technician
IDR, Inc. is seeking a Radio Communications Technician to join one of their top clients in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves programming and documenting radio assets for the Fire/EMS Departments as part of the 2026 FireEMS Radio Reprogramming Project.

Responsibilities
Program and document radio assets for the Fire/EMS Departments
Utilize Motorola Customer Programming software and the Asset Tracking tool MCM
Perform tasks at the Radio Shop and at Fire Stations or Dispatch Centers off-site
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience telecom/radio support
Land Mobile Radio programming experience
Wide-ranging radio vehicle installation/repairing experience
Hands on radio support experience with Motorola (Astro 25 Radio System)
Prior experience working with City/Police/Fire
