Responsibilities
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to understand inspection requirements
Perform dimensional measurements and inspections using basic precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, and gauge pins
Conduct visual inspections of materials, in-process work, and finished products, with and without microscopes
Accurately document inspection results and clearly identify nonconforming materials or products
Communicate inspection findings to supervisors and production personnel and assist with corrective actions
Enter inspection data and process inspection jobs within the ERP system
Create and update inspection reports based on engineering drawings and specifications
Learn to operate advanced inspection equipment such as Optical Comparators, CMMs, and Vision Inspection Systems through on-the-job training
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Math skills sufficient to understand tolerances and sampling quantities
Interest in quality inspection, manufacturing, or engineering environments
Ability to follow procedures and work effectively in a team setting
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred
0–2 years of related manufacturing or inspection experience preferred (but not required for strong entry-level candidates)
Coursework, certifications, or training in Quality, Manufacturing, or Inspection is a plus
