Responsibilities

Managing and directing a team in performing activities in support of Caltrans Safety and Monitoring Programs
Delivering the safety components and aspects of projects and activities on the State Highway System (SHS) in the responsible Bay Area counties
Providing support to the Legal Division
Supervising a team of Transportation Engineers, administrative staff, and additional technical staff as needed

California professional engineering licenseTraffic Safety investigationProject managementTeam supervisionEffective communication

Required

Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers is required
Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required
