Responsibilities
Application development: Design, develop, and maintain EPM applications, including creating reports, dashboards, and user interfaces
Technical implementation: Write business rules, scripts, and other code to automate processes and solve complex business problems
Data integration: Build and manage integrations with other corporate systems, such as ERPs and data warehouses, to ensure data accuracy and integrity
User support: Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, provide training, and troubleshoot issues
System maintenance: Optimize and maintain existing EPM systems and help with migrations from other platforms
Qualification
Required
Experience with specific platforms like Oracle EPM Cloud (including EPBCS, FCCS), OneStream, or Pigment is often required
Strong coding ability in languages like Groovy, SQL, or C#/.NET is frequently needed
Familiarity with reporting tools like Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio, or Power BI is important
Experience with APIs for automation and data manipulation is valuable
A strong understanding of financial processes, such as budgeting, forecasting, and planning, is essential
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with both finance and IT teams
6 to 10 years of relevant experience required
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
