Responsibilities

Lead the specification, development, and validation of manufacturing tests
Drive test yield improvement and defect reduction through test coverage, data analysis and root cause investigation
Own test hardware and software from concept through production release and sustaining
Develop test documentation including test plans and procedures Interface with contract manufacturers and vendors to ensure test capability, scalability, and consistency
Communicate lessons learned to greater Hardware and partner engineering teams to improve the product and its manufacturability, quality, and reliability

Required

7+ years of experience in manufacturing or production test engineering
Strong experience with test design and development
Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, TestStand)
Solid understanding of mechatronic systems
Experience with statistical analysis, yield monitoring, and SPC tools
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues in a production environment
CAD experience and fixture design
Test framework design and deployment
