Coda Search is partnering with a leading $100BN+ asset management firm, and they are seeking to hire a Senior Associate in the Capital Markets team. The role involves supporting the firm’s real estate investment platform by structuring, sourcing, and executing financing solutions across a diversified portfolio.

Responsibilities

Source, structure, and execute debt and structured financing solutions across the firm’s real estate portfolio, including acquisition, refinancing, and recapitalization transactions

Evaluate and negotiate financing terms with banks, institutional lenders, insurance companies, and alternative capital providers

Monitor existing portfolio financings and proactively identify opportunities to optimize capital structures, reduce cost of capital, and manage risk

Partner with asset management and investment teams to evaluate financing alternatives for existing assets and new investments

Prepare internal memos and materials summarizing financing structures, market conditions, and strategic recommendations

Work closely with investment, asset management, legal, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment across transactions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field

4+ years of experience in capital markets, real estate finance, investment banking, debt advisory, private equity real estate, or structured finance

Strong understanding of real estate debt products, including senior loans, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, and structured solutions

Proven analytical skills with experience underwriting complex transactions and evaluating multiple financing scenarios

Preferred

advanced degree or CFA a plus
