Associate General Counsel

As Associate General Counsel, you will facilitate all aspects of legal operations, engage collaboratively with business and engineering leads, and manage a range of legal responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Managing corporate governance issues
Assisting with negotiating commercial contracts, leases, and other agreements
Coordinating with the engineering teams to ensure legal compliance across nuclear, environmental, export-control, and other groups
Building and scaling various functions, including contract management
Assisting the General Counsel with a variety of projects as needs arise

Qualification

Required

J.D. degree
3+ years of legal experience (including clerkships)
Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
This position is based in Los Angeles, CA and requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered

Preferred

Subject-matter expertise in corporate law is a plus, but hiring for this role will prioritize elite, adaptable candidates who are able to move quickly, solve problems, and provide actionable, pragmatic advice to business and technical personnel within the organization
