Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with standards, evaluate staff effectiveness, and develop improvement plans
Conduct audits, provide testimony, educate employers on federal laws, and ensure tax compliance
Manage investigations to ensure accurate and timely wage claims, supporting the benefits department
Update tax systems for delinquent reports and ensure legal compliance
Complete required training programs and apply acquired knowledge
Interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Exercise judgment and discretion, establish and maintain effective working relationships, and communicate effectively with written & verbal skills
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting
At least three years of experience with auditing, account documenting, and interviewing
Preferred
Strong leadership skills, and effective management of resources, projects, and timelines to achieve agency goals
Experience in auditing employer accounts
