Responsibilities
Prepare and review corporate federal and state income tax returns
Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740
Support tax-related SEC disclosures and reporting requirements
Research and analyze tax law changes, assessing potential impacts to the organization
Partner with the Tax Manager and external auditors to support SEC filings
Assist with IRS and state tax audits, including documentation preparation and responses
Support tax planning initiatives to enhance compliance and optimize the company’s tax position
Identify and implement process improvements and automation, leveraging OneSource and other tax tools
Qualification
Required
3+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably within a publicly traded company or public accounting firm
Hands-on experience with ASC 740, SEC reporting, and corporate tax compliance
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or Taxation
Proficiency with OneSource or similar corporate tax compliance software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a contract-based, fast-moving environment
