The role involves developing designs of electrical power systems for construction projects, mentoring less experienced engineers, and ensuring project success through collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Innovating project approach to optimize safety, schedule, and profitability

Training and mentoring less experienced engineers in their technical and professional development

Performing quality control reviews

Providing support for our clients during construction

Performing field inspections, compliance documentation, and factory acceptance testing

Leading a team of electrical engineering professionals to ensure project success

Presenting designs and proposals to clients, permitting authorities, public interest groups, etc

Corresponding and/or meeting with clients, contractors, and vendors

Leading project proposal efforts

Advancing into leadership roles

Required

Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program

10 plus years of related experience

P.E. License or ability to acquire one

Ability to work methodically and analytically in a dynamic, quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills

Proficiency with National Electrical Code

Experience in electrical design and circuits

Strong administrative, accounting, computer, and communication skills

Demonstrated leadership skills

Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels

Knowledge of construction principles/practices required

Experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors

Ability to build trust and influence others internally and externally

Proficiency with National Electrical Safety Code and IEEE / ANSI Standards

10% travel required

Preferred

Experience in AutoCAD electrical and Revit
