Responsibilities
Maintenance of corporate Cost Accounting methodology and procedures
Oversight of periodic inventory counts and maintenance of inventory and controls
Collaborate with the Production team to understand the full production process
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand the accurate bill of materials as well as in-depth knowledge of the full production process
Streamline inventory procedures and maintain consistent reports
Analyze cost absorption and perform variance analysis monthly
Interested in numbers, inventory control, transaction analysis, and journal entry
Qualification
Required
3-5 years' experience in manufacturing cost accounting
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or any related field
Must have the ability to analyze large data sets
Strong understanding of cost methods
Proficiency in MS Suites (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Experience with and ability to work with physical inventory in a manufacturing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Must be team-oriented and self-motivated
Ability to commute/relocate to Pendergrass, GA 30567
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
