The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a Supervisory IT Specialist to provide full IM/IT support and administrative program direction. The role involves setting goals, policies, and objectives for the organization to meet the outlined objectives and services, as well as implementing internal control systems for accountability.

Responsibilities
Works under the general administrative supervision of the G6 Director
Provides full IM/IT support to USACE activities under the Administrative and Technical Control of the G6
Provides IM/IT enterprise level support to USACE activities under Technical Control of the G6
Provides administrative program direction to various office chiefs and special staff involved in a variety of functional program areas
Sets goals, policies, and objectives for the organization in order to meet the objectives and services outlined in the G6 Charter and other relevant artifacts such as the USACE IM/IT Strategic Plan and USACE Campaign Plan
Implements higher headquarters policies and guidance, and adapts guidance for local situations
Implements an internal control system to produce a sound system of accountability based on agreed upon service level performance metrics
Presents recommendations to the Director for new organizational structure and management methods and improvements to existing structure and methods
