Sales Support Specialist

PTMA Financial Solutions provides treasury management and financial services to public sector clients. The Sales Support Specialist supports the Investment Team by ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional service through collaboration, accurate transaction processing, and maintaining client profiles.

Responsibilities

Provides proactive support to team members to foster collaboration and operational efficiency
Responds promptly to customer inquiries, including account changes, and issue resolution (non-sales related items)
Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure the accurate and timely processing of daily tasks, including transaction settlements
Updates and manages internal databases and CRM systems, ensuring the accuracy of records related to authorized signors, account maintenance, and meeting agendas
Develops and maintains client cash flow profiles in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the relationship management team in investment analysis and opportunity identification
Prepares, updates, and reviews bond proceeds management reports in partnership with the relationship management team
Creates and maintains regular internal reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) to support business operations and decision-making
Acts as a main IT Liaison for the Investment Team, overseeing technology support, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth integration of investment tools and systems to enhance team efficiency (future aspect of the role)
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and commitment

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business Management (with a focus on Accounting, Finance, IT, or Marketing) from a four-year college or university, along with one to two years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time
Lift up to 15 lbs

Preferred

Preferred experience in Investment Management (Broker-Dealer–Advisor) Environment but not required
