Responsibilities

Inputting billing related data into spreadsheet and accounting systems and ensuring records are up to date
Supporting the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports
Analyzing budget performance to identify various trends, variances, and potential areas for cost efficiency
Participating in meetings with Department leaders to discuss budget-related matters
Communicating with other departments to gather information needed for invoicing

Microsoft Office SuiteAccounting knowledgeFinance knowledgeData analysisCommunication skills

Required

Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university and working towards a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Transportation Planning, or other related field
Must demonstrate working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite applications
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, frequently stand and/or walk within an office environment, lift and carry up to 25lbs, use a keyboard and type for prolonged periods

Preferred

Knowledge of accounting (payables) and finance (invoicing) are preferred
