Responsibilities

Develop winning technical strategies for company proposals to include mechanical turbine design concepts
Development of cost-effective custom equipment designs
Ensure that the company is current with industry technology developments so that proposals are competitive
Mitigate technical/commercial risk and communicate to upper management
Provide mechanical engineering hours and schedule estimates
Develop, verify, and maintain processes and software specifically related to mechanical engineering proposal deliverables
Provide a monthly forecast for mechanical engineering proposal hours
Represent the company at trade shows and on professional society committees and meetings
Attend pre-bid site visits and meetings as required
Create custom new turbine designs that will allow us to compete directly with lower-cost manufacturers
Support the Mechanical Engineering department in the development of competitive turbine design methods and technology
Final mechanical design for proposals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
10+ years of turbine mechanical design experience
