Responsibilities
Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, coaching them while reinforcing literacy concepts delivered by Reading Specialists
Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and meet their weekly academic targets
Guiding emotional self-regulation, resilience, and critical thinking through consistent routines and supportive engagement
Monitoring student development and challenges, identifying concerns proactively, and refining approaches in partnership with your colleagues
Building a classroom environment that balances structure, joy, and individualized attention
Qualification
Required
Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our location in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
3+ years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–8 in educational, afterschool, coaching, or comparable settings
Strong storytelling ability and dynamic presentation skills: capable of captivating and sustaining attention among young learners
Capacity to uphold rigorous expectations for both yourself and students, and motivate children to achieve their objectives
Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to feedback
Legal authorization to work in the US without employer sponsorship
