Responsibilities
Performing routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairing and fitting simple replacement parts
Ensuring regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshooting and reporting issues, if any; and maintaining detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities
Keeping track of approved, defective units, and final products
Executes the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB Standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance
Operates machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions
Maintains a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed
Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
Preferred
Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred
