They are seeking a Product Testing Technician to support their toy and consumer product testing services by preparing samples, performing tests, and maintaining equipment in compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory methods.

Responsibilities
Conduct routine physical mechanical and flammability testing according to internal SOPs and standardized methods
Record test results accurately and maintain detailed documentation
Clean, maintain, and organize laboratory workspaces and equipment
Verify laboratory instruments and scales to ensure accuracy
Keep customer samples and job documentation organized throughout the testing process
Occasionally assist other technicians and support staff with tasks and cross-training
Participate in general lab duties and support projects as needed
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Competent with basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Email, etc.)
Comfortable using basic hand tools, balances, scales, and calibrated lab equipment
Able to lift 50 lbs. easily and up to 75 lbs. or more occasionally
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred
Associate degree in Materials Science, or a related technical field OR relevant work experience
Prior laboratory or product testing experience (a plus, but not required)
Experience in working with regulatory standards and quality systems (e.g., CPSC, ASTM, ISO 17025)
