Responsibilities

Connect at least two monitoring systems end-to-end (ingestion > dashboard > report > notification)
Deliver a KPI set with definitions and formulas, including availability, Mean Time to Acknowledge (MTTA)/Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR), alert volume, incident recurrence, and SLA/SLO proxy metrics
Reduce duplicate or low-value alert noise in the pilot set (target: ≥20% reduction through rules or Artificial Intelligence (AI) classification)
Produce a working MVP with a dashboard view, scheduled report output, and a critical notification pipeline for a pilot channel or team
Work with multiple monitoring and alerting tools across infrastructure, network, endpoints, cloud, and application environments
Assist in addressing fragmented visibility, overlapping alerts, inconsistent reporting, and slow trend or SLA risk identification
Report progress regularly and follow provided training, expectations, and checkpoints throughout the project
Adhere to federal and state regulations
Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Required

Undergraduate/graduate student working towards a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Science, or other relevant degree
Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week up to a maximum of 40 hours per week
Minimum of 3.0 GPA required to enter the program
Must be actively enrolled in school
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
