Responsibilities
Provides training, mentors staff, promotes safety and innovation
Daily interaction with engineers and clients to provide competitive estimates
Develops budgets, project estimates for and schedules with appropriate drill rigs, support equipment and staff
Ensures compliance with industry standards and technical guidelines
Supervises drilling manager and support staff (mechanics, welders, etc)
Implement technical solutions for challenging ground conditions
Identifies and pursues new business opportunities and clients
Develops relationships with stakeholders and industry partners
Prepares proposals, presentations, and bids for projects
Coordinates marketing campaigns and branding initiatives
Oversees all aspects of operations, strategy, personnel, and financial oversight
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in preferably in the geotechnical/environmental drilling industry
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills able to relate to a diverse group of clients, vendors, employees and stakeholders
Proven success in business development, account management, and client satisfaction
Strong analytical abilities and commercial awareness
Strong organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
Demonstrated aptitude for strategic thinking and problem-solving
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
