Responsibilities

Analyzes, designs, and administers employer compensation programs, policies and procedures that align with company goals/objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement
Monitors effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures, recommending plan revisions that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives
Designs and communicates pay structures, grades, budgets and guidelines
Advises managers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines
Partners with internal clients to design strategies to attract, reward and retain talent
Assists internal partners to ensure their reward programs are competitive by performing competitive benchmarking analysis
Participates in compensation and benefits surveys
Performs industry and financial research
Develops presentations for management team
Reports – creating and managing companywide on daily/monthly/annual basis
Managing Annual Performance Review process
Managing and completing year end processes for benefits and payroll
Security and compliance upkeep in system
System configurations – complete all required and any as needed
Resolution of systems issues (employee support)
Support to onboarding team and UKG module
Manages UKG updates/rollouts and system optimization
Coordinates with IT, Payroll, and Accounting on related system data flow
Assist benefits team with projects and daily queries as needed – to include open enrollment and ongoing communications
Serve as backup in absence of benefits team members

Required

Bachelor's Degree
3+ years' experience with compensation and benefits administration and design, market pricing, and survey participation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a team environment
Excellent English language/communication skills with an ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
Ability to influence others diplomatically, especially senior management
Strong skillset in MS Office Suite - Excel rating of Intermediate to Advanced
HRIS experience required; UKG HRIS experience preferred
Willingness and ability to be based in our Houston office Monday through Friday
