Responsibilities
Prepare, revise, and finalize a high volume of client invoices
Review prebills and coordinate changes
Ensure all billing meets client requirements and internal guidelines
Update and maintain billing instructions
Submit invoices and electronic bills by required deadlines
Track and resolve rejected or disputed invoices
Respond to questions regarding billing, payments, work in progress, and balances
Research and correct discrepancies
Assist with new matter setups and specialized billing formats
Monitor invoice status to support timely payments
Serve as a main contact for billing related inquiries
Partner with legal and accounting teams to resolve issues
Deliver a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders
Maintain organized billing documentation
Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2 or more years of billing experience in a legal or professional services setting preferred
Proficient with general office software and billing platforms
Strong attention to detail and organization
Effective analytical and problem solving skills
Clear and professional communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, deadline oriented, and comfortable in a fast paced environment
Preferred
