Gynecological/Obstetric Imaging Data Research Analyst
The University of Chicago is seeking a full-time research-focused Gynecological/Obstetric Imaging Data Analyst. This role involves analyzing imaging datasets, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to scholarly outputs to advance clinical and translational research in gynecological and obstetric imaging.

Responsibilities
Analyze gynecological and obstetric imaging datasets to answer clinically and scientifically meaningful research questions
Develop, implement, and optimize quantitative and qualitative analytical pipelines for imaging data
Collaborate with radiologists, imaging scientists, clinicians, and data scientists to design research protocols and study methodologies
Interpret imaging findings in the context of clinical and research questions, providing actionable insights to study teams
Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements in all research activities
Contribute to manuscript preparation, presentations, and grant proposals by providing rigorous data analysis and domain expertise
Mentor and train junior researchers, graduate students, and research assistants in imaging data analysis techniques and clinical relevance
Stay current with advances in imaging modalities, analytical methods, and relevant clinical guidelines to support innovative research approaches
Identify opportunities to integrate multimodal data (imaging, clinical, molecular) to enhance research outcomes
Assist in developing reproducible workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures for imaging research projects
Serves as a resource for collecting data and performing analysis. Facilitates and promotes a research project by providing scientific or intellectual information
Uses subject matter and best practices knowledge to perform lab and/or research-related duties and tasks. Works independently to assist with project design
Solves complex problems relating to the administration of projects, including planning new procedures, adapting existing procedures to the needs of the project, and making significant contributions to methodology
Performs other related work as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field
Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline

Preferred
PhD or doctoral degree in a related field
Specialized training or certifications in gynecological and obstetric imaging modalities (e.g., advanced ultrasound, CT, MRI protocols for women's health)
Clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology to support data analysis on imaging data sets
Prior experience in academic radiology or women's health research environments. Experience integrating multimodal datasets (e.g., imaging + clinical + molecular data) to answer complex research questions
Expertise in analyzing gynecological and obstetric imaging datasets using advanced analytical tools and methods
Strong understanding of clinical workflows, research methodology, and study design in radiology and women's health
Ability to translate complex imaging data into actionable insights and contribute to publications, protocols, and grant applications
Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including mentoring junior researchers and trainees
Commitment to ethical research practices, data integrity, and regulatory compliance
Proactive, innovative, and adaptable in applying new imaging technologies or analytical approaches to advance research goals
