Supervise daily laboratory operations, including specimen collection, processing, analysis, and reporting
Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and all other regulatory requirements
Oversee and perform testing in hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and other relevant areas
Manage, train, and evaluate laboratory staff; ensure competency assessments and continuing education
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain quality control programs
Monitor inventory and coordinate the ordering and maintenance of lab supplies and equipment
Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to support patient care
Investigate and resolve technical and operational problems
Participate in laboratory inspections and ensure readiness for audits or accreditation reviews
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely and accurate test result reporting
