Responsibilities
Partner with key stakeholders to understand, elicit and document the business processes and needs through brainstorming sessions and user elicitation sessions developing both written and visual depiction of process flows
Function as a liaison between users, business units and IT to groom requirements and facilitate User Acceptance Testing during the development cycle
Write requirements, conduct follow-up sessions with users to refine, finalize, and obtain approval of requirements from identified key stakeholders
Design new business functionality by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications
Serve as the ultimate facilitator between business and IT in truly understanding the business needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of the effort through the project lifecycle
Effectively communicate and work with team members, other departments, and business leadership
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Business Systems Analyst
Ability to partner with key stakeholders to understand, elicit and document business processes and needs
Experience in conducting brainstorming sessions and user elicitation sessions
Ability to develop both written and visual depictions of process flows
Experience functioning as a liaison between users, business units, and IT
Ability to groom requirements and facilitate User Acceptance Testing during the development cycle
Experience writing requirements and conducting follow-up sessions with users
Ability to refine, finalize, and obtain approval of requirements from identified key stakeholders
Experience designing new business functionality by analyzing requirements
Ability to construct workflow charts and diagrams
Experience studying system capabilities and writing specifications
Ability to serve as a facilitator between business and IT
Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members, other departments, and business leadership
