Responsibilities
Lead operating system upgrade initiatives to remediate end-of-life platforms across the server environment
Manage database platform upgrades, coordinating closely with application owners and database administrators to plan and schedule remediation activities
Partner with application owners and infrastructure teams to develop upgrade and remediation strategies, including researching and identifying appropriate ownership when needed
Track project progress across all initiatives, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and risks are clearly documented
Create and maintain burndown charts, status reports, and leadership-ready dashboards
Identify, track, and communicate key blockers, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and senior leadership
Drive accountability across teams and actively remove obstacles to keep initiatives on track
Lead disaster recovery maturity efforts by coordinating the submission, review, and approval of application recovery documentation
Maintain a strong focus on outcomes, ensuring initiatives are driven to successful and timely completion
Qualification
Required
Experience managing infrastructure or technology-focused projects
Foundational understanding of infrastructure environments, including servers, operating systems, and database platforms
Proven ability to coordinate across technical teams and application stakeholders
Strong experience tracking remediation efforts and reporting progress to leadership
Proficiency in creating burndown charts, executive-level status reports, and risk summaries
Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-driven with a strong sense of ownership
Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow up, escalate appropriately, and maintain accountability
