Oasis QA review specialist

Mosaic Health is seeking an Oasis QA review specialist to assist in the daily operation of oasis scrubbing and coding. The role involves reviewing Oasis documentation for accuracy and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

Responsibilities

Review Oasis documentation for accuracy
Diagnosis coding of the Oasis on a timely basis
Communicates with field staff of any corrections that may be needed for the completion of the Plan of Care
Submits daily completed Oasis documents that have been coded, locked and certified
Reports any educational needs to Administrative Team as identified upon documentation review
Reviews inpatient and physician documentation to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality patient care
Performs chart audits as directed
Performs other tasks as assigned by the Administrative Team
Participates with educational and professional groups as directed by the Administrative Team
Maintains confidentiality of patient medical information
Is knowledgeable of the Agency’s organization, functions and services
Promotes and maintains an environment that is compliant with Federal, State and local regulatory agencies
Complies with Agency dress code policy
Maintains efficient flow of Agency by reporting to work at assigned or scheduled times; follows procedures for notification of absence or time off requests
