Responsibilities
Support production by troubleshooting breakdown/performance/setup issues – assist with developing countermeasures to address root cause
Develop repair and PM procedures for assigned area in conjunction with master trainer
Perform problem solving activities associated with technical equipment and component failure
Provides recommendations and assists in manufacturing equipment rebuilds and retrofit projects
Determine areas/items that need to be tested for improvement purposes
Qualification
Required
Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment and process issues
Advanced mechanical and electrical skills
Advanced PLC, HMI and motion control programming/support skills
Ability to interface with all levels in the organization using verbal and written skills
Advanced computer knowledge with the ability to learn new software to further develop skills
Support 5-S and continuous improvements (kaizen) initiatives in the Plant
A1 Level - Associates degree required in related engineering field and at least 5 years of manufacturing experience
Preferred
Hourly 8 – Associates degree preferred in engineering field and at least 5 years of manufacturing experience
Hourly 7 – Associates degree preferred in engineering field and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience
