Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive test engineering strategy aligned with overall business objectives and product roadmaps
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Test Engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high productivity. This includes hiring, training, performance reviews, and career pathing
Oversee the entire product testing lifecycle, from requirements analysis and test plan creation to execution, defect tracking, and reporting
Work closely with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to integrate testing activities seamlessly into the product development process
Allocate and manage testing resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to optimize project timelines and costs
Establish and maintain high standards for product quality and reliability through effective testing methodologies
Identify and mitigate potential testing risks and challenges
Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, issues, and overall product quality to senior management
Continuously finds methods to improve efficiency metrics for the team (on-time delivery, cost, quality)
Researches and implements new testing technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance test coverage and effectiveness
Coordinates resources and tasks to meet overall group objectives and priorities
Monitors achievements and costs, and removes barriers to group’s success
Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and timely completion
Develops and maintains detailed project schedules and milestones
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
8+ years of experience in Test Engineering
Strong background in LabView Development Experience
In-depth Knowledge in Hardware and RF testing principles and applications
Extensive Programming experience in C, C#, and C++
Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with various testing methodologies (e.g., agile, waterfall) and test automation frameworks
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
