Responsibilities
Observes and operates all equipment and instrumentation, troubleshoots, adjusts equipment, cleans equipment, makes regular rounds, and records data on appropriate logs and sheets
Properly uses the JDE Enterprise 1 system to make appropriate transactions, product scans, and maintenance work orders
Operates the packaging systems including operating the packaging equipment, the delivery of correct bags, boxes, drums, Super Sacks, etc., to the staging areas
Operates the packaging stations including the packaging hopper, and delivery of correctly filled bags, sacks, etc
Keeps areas clean
Assists in training other operators
Performs other work as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
2 years of related production operator experience in a manufacturing setting
Must be capable of accurately completing reports and understanding written material, and performing basic mathematics
Demonstrates knowledge of process flow description (PFD), key process control points, process description, rounds sheets and data sheets, analytical specifications and control thereof, all relevant job analyses, and appropriate troubleshooting
Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices including the proper wearing of clean protective clothing, following personal hygiene standards, and adherence to food/drink/tobacco restrictions
Frequent lifting (50 lbs)
Constant standing, bending, operating mobile equipment (forklift)
