Responsibilities

Creating and extending tools for gathering key metrics
Designing and implementing API's for populating new data
Summarizing results
Ensuring tools operate smoothly at scale

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience with Python programming (either through coursework or previous projects)
Familiarity with Go or interest in learning Go to extend existing Python-based tools
Experience with databases, both relational and NoSQL
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Basic understanding of unit tests and familiarity with testing frameworks
Basic understanding of APIs and web technologies (RESTful APIs are a plus)
Experience or familiarity with IoT devices and systems is a bonus
Understanding of data structures and algorithms
Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Candidate must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical degree) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred

Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
Understanding of performance optimization and scalability in distributed systems
Exposure to version control systems (Git)
