Responsibilities
Play a critical role in the month‑end close, including preparation and review of journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and variance analysis to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Support the VP/Controller, VP of FP&A, and CFO through timely financial analysis, reporting, and operational support
Support third parties to ensure accuracy of sales & use tax filings
Assist in the tracking and management of fixed assets, including coordination of construction‑in‑progress (CIP) applications to projects and supervising depreciation accuracy
Supervise payable process into NetSuite and resolve coding or approval issues
Support financial and operational reporting for management and the Board of Directors by preparing schedules, insights, and supporting documentation
Post and reconcile cash transactions within accounting systems to maintain accurate liquidity and cash flow reporting
Provide ad‑hoc analytical and operational support to meet the needs of a rapidly growing organization
Qualification
Required
Up to 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment
Solid working understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong ownership of assigned tasks
Highly organized with demonstrated administrative efficiency and strong attention to detail
Willingness to take on new projects, learn, and grow in a scaling finance organization
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Preferred
Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
Familiarity with modern financial systems valued
