Finance Department Intern

Girl Scouts of West Central Florida (GSWCF) is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Finance Department Intern to support our finance and accounting team. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in a nonprofit finance and accounting environment while contributing to an organization dedicated to building girls of courage, confidence, and character.

Responsibilities

Enter financial data accurately into spreadsheets and internal systems
Assist with cash handling and revenue processing
Assist with processing invoices and financial documentation
Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness
Organize and maintain electronic and paper financial records
Support the finance team with clerical and administrative tasks as needed
Handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and confidentiality

Required

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Currently enrolled in or recently completed coursework in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Interest in nonprofit operations and mission-driven work
