Technical Support Network Engineer
TC Communications, Inc is dedicated to exceptional customer support and service. They are seeking a highly organized Technical Support Network Engineer to manage casework, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and training.

Responsibilities
End-user phone/email/on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance related to TC Communications Ethernet and legacy communication product lines
In-person, customer-facing training for TC Communications products and services
Product testing
Pre-shipping configuration services
Point of contact for customer service requirements including RMA, shipping inquiries, and assist with travel arrangements when needed
Input records data accurately in CRM and RMA databases
Limited travel (10-25%) for customer-based support and product training
Support contract services
Various other task as needed by the Technical Support team related to support, product testing, customer service, training, contract management or travel
Qualification
Required
Previous experience with TCP/IP networking, switching and routing (e.g. VLAN, QoS, RSTP, etc)
Experience in phone-based or retail customer service
Proficiency in data entry and management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Analytical and problem-solving aptitude
CCNA certification (or equivalent knowledge/experience such as CompTIA Network+)
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Bachelor's (Required)
Customer support: 1 year (Required)
English (Required)
Ability to Commute: Irvine, CA 92614 (Required)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Proficiency with Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Experience in deploying, designing and supporting ethernet based network hardware/software
Training delivery: 1 year (Preferred)
Network protocols: 2 years (Preferred)
Communication systems: 2 years (Preferred)
CCNA (Preferred)
Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
