As a Senior/Staff Systems Test Engineer, you will design test bed schematics and set up complete end-to-end systems, perform system tests, and publish results while acting as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned projects.

Responsibilities
Understand end-to-end System Architecture (HW + FW + SW +Cloud + Mobile App), design comprehensive System Test Plan
Strong grasp of Requirement analysis and Traceability matrix, challenge unclear requirements early
Perform System level test where various products interact seamlessly, investigate and understand test failures, write clear reproducible bug reports, and follow up with stakeholders until issues are resolved and verified
Advocate quality early in the development cycle
Understand automated test frameworks and basic scripting (Python, Shell)
Lead assigned Beta program activities until beta exit is conducted
Think like a system installer, identify test gaps and catch issues before they show up in the field
Clear communication with hardware engineers, developers, program and product managers
Establishing and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights
Qualification
Required
BE/ME degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
5+ years of System Test experience that involves setting up a complete system, comprising multiple components
Hands-on experience with installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical equipment, must be able to draw Test Bed schematics
Experience interacting with field application, engineering, and product management teams
Expertise developing complex system test scenarios/use cases representing field conditions
Expertise in Testing Embedded Systems, Integration of electrical design with mechanical and software elements of the system
Good understanding of Linx environment
Solid understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) includes Agile methodology
Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Testing experience working in renewal field is a Big Plus
