Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of the test automation framework and supporting infrastructure
Build and maintain automation frameworks and test suites for desktop and mobile applications
Tackle the challenge of migrating desktop applications to web-based platforms
Partner with the QA team to continuously improve automation through bug fixes, enhancements, and new feature requests
Collaborate with QA leadership on automation strategy, planning, and best practices
Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to support project success
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on code quality and standards
Stay current with modern testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, and proactively apply them
Develop, optimize, and scale CI/CD automation pipelines
Estimate the effort required for testing tasks and deliverables
Create, maintain, and update QA documentation to support team processes and knowledge sharing

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation
Strong proficiency in C# with hands-on experience using testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries and validate data integrity
Proven experience designing and maintaining automated tests for APIs (REST, SOAP, RestSharp, Postman, Swagger) and Web UIs (Selenium, Playwright, or similar)
Ability to break down complex business processes into smaller, testable components while maintaining end-to-end test coverage
Skilled in developing comprehensive test plans that cover functional, regression, and integration testing
Strong leadership abilities, including mentoring junior and mid-level testers, reviewing test code, and collaborating effectively with developers, product owners, and business analysts
Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks
Access to a home router and modem
A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible)
A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment
The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc
Legal residents of one of the following states: (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, or WY). H-1B Visa Sponsorship Not Available, W2 only

Experience with any of the following is a plus: Messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ)
