Responsibilities
Supervise mechanics and contractors to ensure safe, efficient execution of routine, turnaround, and emergency maintenance work
Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety rules and procedures
Provide hands‑on guidance for troubleshooting, repairs, and first‑time quality workmanship
Maintain accurate work orders, equipment files, and maintenance documentation
Review planned work, confirm material availability, and support scheduling
Coordinate maintenance activities with operations and communicate updates to stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, scheduling, and equipment reliability
Track maintenance KPIs and ensure adherence to performance expectations
Lead team development, coaching, conflict resolution, and consistent policy enforcement
Support onboarding, timekeeping, and day‑to‑day workforce engagement
Respond to non‑routine and emergency maintenance needs as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required; technical or engineering degree preferred
1+ year of maintenance supervision required; 5+ years preferred
3+ years' experience in chemical, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing environments
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience in pumps, seals, gearboxes, agitators, and similar equipment
Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work in fast‑paced, hazardous, and emergency response environments
Demonstrated leadership abilities and commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Preferred
Technical or engineering degree preferred
5+ years of maintenance supervision preferred
