Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and HR databases
Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, onboarding packets, and policy updates
Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, and training sessions
Support HR with correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
Handle general office administrative tasks as needed
Coordinate interview logistics between candidates and hiring managers
Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
Support new hire onboarding, including paperwork, I-9 verification, and orientation preparation
Ensure personnel files are complete and compliant with company standards
Assist in processing employee changes (promotions, transfers, separations)
Help maintain HRIS accuracy and update employee information
Support benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee inquiries
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Serve as a point of contact for basic HR questions
Assist with organizing employee events, trainings, and engagement initiatives
Help ensure workplace compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of HR or administrative experience
High school diploma
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
Preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
Bilingual in Spanish
