Responsibilities
Research assigned subject matter using electronic and print resources, including Chinese language sources
Summarize Chinese sources in English orally and in writing
Translate Chinese excerpts and documents into English
Draft English memoranda and reports summarizing and/or analyzing research results
Assist in gathering evidence for litigation and investigations
Fact and citation check
Qualification
Required
Extensive and advanced knowledge of written Chinese
Extensive knowledge of research sources and methods using Chinese
Ability to research and identify relevant information using Chinese language sources, including Chinese laws, regulations, policies, and other written sources related to Chinese trade, economic, industrial, and investment policies
Ability to organize and analyze applicable information from Chinese sources
Ability to write clearly in English on complex subjects, requiring minimal editing
Experience developing deliverables using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
The position requires high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and work quickly and under deadlines
