Experience in technical sales or related in chemicals, industrial or manufacturing equipment or goods, etc

Strong organizational skills
A self-motivated “hunter” mindset
Bachelors' degree in Chemistry, Business, Marketing or related
Must exemplify professionalism in selling and convey a strong sense of urgency towards achieving sales goals
5+ years' experience in technical sales
Candidate must currently live in and have familiarity with assigned market geography – Mid & South Texas. Northern territory border is south of Waco
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and negotiating skills
Basic PC skills and use of spreadsheet construction and analysis, word processing and data base management
Excellent organizational and time management skills
A high level of initiative
The ability to travel in the region

Preferred

Experience selling lubricants and fuel additives or other specialty chemicals highly preferred
