Responsibilities

Collaborate with scientists, engineers, project managers, and technical experts on various activities in support of civil design and environmental permitting projects

Engage in activities such as land development planning, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, engineering calculations, erosion and sediment control evaluations and layout, and earthwork site design

Develop permit and construction-level drawings and details

Prepare technical specifications and report writing for civil and environmental permitting

Conduct field assignments as needed, including contractor oversight, site walks, and site inspections

Contribute to construction cost evaluation/estimating

Provide office-based support for active construction projects, including submittal reviews, field change documentation, and site layout information

Required

BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline

Prior experience with soil erosion and sediment control (internship or full-time employment)

Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software

Preferred

Prior internship experience

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

Experience with engineering software tools such as HydroCAD, WinTR-55, PondPack, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS
