Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records in line with company accounting guidelines, local statutory requirements, and relevant regulations
Supervise accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. (US GAAP)
Collaborate closely with Toss Securities’ Seoul-based team to ensure a consistent and efficient closing process
Manage AR/AP management, including intercompany transactions
Review payment requests, vendor registrations, and journal entries
Oversee and reconcile payroll transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
Inspect and update all documentation and systems related to accounting and company finances
Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger
Support the firms FINOP with regulatory reporting requirements
Conduct monthly financial reviews and identify areas for improvement
Analyze variances and enhance reporting accuracy and consistency
Prepare monthly financial results reports (B/S, P/L, Cash Flow)
Prepare year-end reports, including consolidation packages
Ensure all financial reports are completed accurately and submitted on time(monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial information)
Monitor daily transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs (purchase, travel, etc.)
Coordinate internal and external audits for finance closing, tax, and oversee follow-up actions
Support the firm’s annual audit process with outside accounting firm
Manage and maintain financial systems (e.g., period closing, chart of accounts)
Help establish best practices related to accounting
Implement continuous improvements for clear financial and controlling processes (purchase order, monthly and annual reporting)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
Leading experience in year-end audit and monthly closing is a must
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred
CPA designation is a plus
Experience in Broker-Dealer or Series 27 License from FINRA is a plus
IFRS and US GAAP dual experience is a plus
