Responsibilities

Analyze benefits and leave data to identify trends, cost drivers, risks, and opportunities
Develop recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership
Assist in developing data-driven narratives that support recommendations for innovative programs, vendor partnerships, or plan design changes
Conduct ROI analysis, utilization reviews, benchmarking, and cohort analysis to assess program effectiveness
Synthesize data from vendors, HR systems, and financial sources to explain key drivers and emerging patterns
Review vendor reports, invoices, and eligibility data to identify discrepancies and trends
Support reconciliations, audits, and data validation efforts to ensure accuracy and integrity
Prepare audit-ready reports and data summaries in partnership with Finance, HRIS, and vendors
Assist in preparing leadership- and governance-ready materials related to financial and utilization results
Partner with benefits and leave vendors to define reporting requirements, performance metrics, and data standards
Evaluate vendor performance through utilization and outcome data
Collaborate on custom reporting and targeted analyses to support program optimization and decision-making
Support evaluation of vendor ROI methodologies and assumptions
Respond to routine benefits and leave inquiries, escalating complex issues appropriately
Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and analytical processes
Support special projects, pilots, and new initiatives by providing analytical and operational insights

Required

Bachelor's in Human Resources or Business Administration
2-4 years of experience
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Experience building reports, dashboards, or analytical models used to inform decisions
Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Proficiency with Excel and data or reporting systems
2-4 years of experience in a role requiring strong analytical skills and regular use of data to support business decisions
Experience developing reports, analyses, or dashboards for leaders or stakeholders
Experience working with complex data sets and performing data validation or reconciliation
