Responsibilities

Review and interpret candidate background check results to ensure Avenue5 hiring standards are met
Run daily, weekly and monthly audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of data
Upload required HR documentation to the human resources information system
Respond to associate inquiries as related to new hire and onboarding processes
Assist in scheduling interviews for future associates with the recruiting team and hiring manager
Facilitate the on-boarding process for new associates, working in conjunction with the hiring manager
Assist with maintenance of job boards and applicant tracking system as needed
Support hiring events by scheduling and corresponding with applicants
Provide clerical and administrative support for leadership, such as coordinating meeting and training logistics, handling heavy scanning/copying/mailing projects, arranging conference calls, scheduling large meetings and creating and maintaining paper and electronic files
Work closely with payroll team to ensure data integrity prior to biweekly payroll close
Administer the E-Verify work authorization
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma is required
Very strong organizational and time-management skills
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively and sensitively communicate with all levels of management
Intermediate level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Sensitivity to confidential matters is required
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
Capability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English
Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others
Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree is preferred
One to three years of property management experience is preferred
One to three years of human resources experience preferred
