Responsibilities
Develops connections with every student within the grade
Plans and oversees grade-level programming
Facilitates a positive culture and sense of community within the grade by collaborating with students, teachers, parents, and the school administration
Functions as part of the Mental Health and Wellness department, which comprises the school psychologists and all 4 of the HaWCs
Meets weekly with the Mental Health and Wellness department for consultation and supervision by the school psychologists
Teaches a section of the 10th grade Health class
Qualification
Required
Mental health professional
Experience working with high school students
Ability to collaborate with students, teachers, parents, and school administration
Strong presence on the grade level team
Ability to develop connections with students
Experience in planning and overseeing grade-level programming
Facilitation of a positive culture and sense of community
Ability to teach a section of the 10th grade Health class
